Can anyone suggest a place to buy cheap patch cables?

We want to tidy up our cabs over the half term and can't find anything cheap enough to be able to buy enough!

Thanks

Though I know schools can't buy from eBay, I'd have a look (they're cheap as chips) find a decent BUSINESS seller from eBay selling them, send them a message through eBay, and I'm sure they'd be willing to progress an order through an alternate (standard invoice) route.

Softcat are quite well priced. Around 60p for 1m, 90p for 2.

I tend to buy cable and cable ends to make my own up. Works out cheaper.

You'd need a crimper etc for that, and it's a pain in the ass :o

It certainly is if you have a lot to get. Have you asked any of your suppliers? They will possibly come up with a good price or even throw you a few free

How long, how many and what price you looking for in general? Just for pricing wise.

on my link you can get a 100 patch cables for £27 I can't imagine you could get the raw materials for less? Let alone the 3 hours it'd take to make them. Plus I find factory made cables are more robust.

Last time I bought a stack of mayfelx patch leads was from CP.

Those one linked too I would trust to hold my door open.

Without being able to test and validate a patch lead I wouldn't make my own.

We bought about 100 of them a few months back from Luke @ Millgate.. I think they were 0.3m and his price was very good! I would deffo give him a shout.

Try from Topological, they're quite close, so should be able to get them to you for next week.

Amongst a quote for a change to an ICT suite, we're getting 17x 1m and 17x 2m cables for 27.20 (I don't know the price per cable), and they do them in various colours (although the odder colours may take longer to arrive).

yaargh, I've just realised I'm going to have to sort through my cable boxes before the summer, so I can re patch a couple of my cabinets....

Blargh, I hate re-patching, I end up with wax over my hands and a cold from where the air-con was blowing a cold blast down the back of my neck.
