FragglePete Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Likewise, use it for business only. Pete
Gatt Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Yeah should have said that its Business use only... though do have a few EG connections - It's really helped me since I left Education as recruiters use this now - so its relly a very big online CV...
garethEds Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 yip. link in my sig below. I try and keep it updated. Gareth
witch Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Must get round to doing the onliine CV for linkedin (yeah, I know, a bit ironic!) as I am now looking to get out of education - not that I don't love it, but I want to be able to take holidays all the year round.
Millgate Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I'm on there as well. Feel free to add me. I've not used it much in the past but i'll be on it this year
enjay Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 Of course, I can't connect to any of you since I don't know your email addresses, unless I add you as friends. I guess LinkedIn isn't quite geared up to people who "know" each other through forums, which is odd...
tommej Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I have a profile set up and filled in. Cant say I really "get" it though.

GrumbleDook Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 There is an EduGeek group which you can find and then connect to fellow group members, and once you are connected to a few then the suggestions will do the rest. Don't connect to EG as a company though ... that is one of the annoying things about LinkedIn, that the group v company stuff is still not 100%.
Gatt Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Know the feeling @localzuk - I had created it ages ago but did naff all with it until the events of last summer.. And its been heavily looked at since by recruiters and alike Definately worth keeping up to date and promoting...
