Dos_Box Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Both the Met Office and BBC show that Lancashire should have scattered rain showers today. To far today I have not seen any. I have however, just driven through, snow, hail and sleet on my way to, and back from, the Essa Academy in Bolton. It looks like winter is finally digging in it's heels. I'd just wish they'd tell us! Anyone else had wintery weather yet?
elsiegee40 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 My Mum and sister (in Buxton and the Hope Valley respectively) had snow yesterday.
Gonk Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 So far in Pembrokeshire I've experienced sleet on the way home last Friday and one really frosty morning when I had to defrost the car. Other than that, we're just getting rain. The temperature has dropped tho and it is bleedin' freezing at the mo even tho the sun is in the sky :s Part of my is hoping for snow... I'm just a big kid really
HaleStorm Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 North Sheffield has been hit by snow showers all morning on and off, but not long enough to have much impact
silver_uk Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 We got snow in North Yorkshire, thought the head was gonna close up...
Andrew_C Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Wow. Nicest day we've had for a while here...
CAM Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Nothing here in London, and Metcheck shows rain next week and temperatures far too high above 0 to pose any risk (6-11C).
rad Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Providing we dont have it on the last day of term, I'll be happy, the students are hiper enough without the snow falling
witch Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Just clear and a bit chilly here (that'd be quite warm for those of you north of Watford Gap)
CAM Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 No-one on the banned list John? They must be outside playing in the snow instead of the computer suites.
john Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 No-one on the banned list John? They must be outside playing in the snow instead of the computer suites. witch Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Awww - I want some snow Yes, I know that I live in the effete south, and I don't know what real hardship is but I would just like a bit of winter rather than the eternal grey, damp, chilly weather we have down here
HaleStorm Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 its cold wet and miserable here today, with sleet showers, i've had to phone the OH and get her to bring me some dry trousers because the ones i walked to work in are a bit soggy
X-13 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Surprised no-ones commented on the very large quantity of Pledge we have http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfy5voLpvK1qas8uoo1_500.jpg Mr. John, we need more lemon pledge. No.. No.. You buy.
john Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Few would be surprised at the IT staff using the cleaners' cupboard as their office @john ! Ahh hehe it is my office actually not even a converted cleaners cupboard, it was a cloakroom however when I was at school and then turned into a board room so its had a couple of uses I just go through a lot of pledge cleaning the desks in the IT Rooms as the cleaners fail at it in most cases which isn't that great so I just do it myself, pledge is also great for cleaning TFTs and keyboards and mice dissolves that grott that they get on them easily. http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfy5voLpvK1qas8uoo1_500.jpg Mr. John, we need more lemon pledge. No.. No.. You buy. No.. No... Cleaning Budget Buy as I go help myself from the cleaning store
