Can we test your software Not sure what version of Image Base we would need if we are manually (thanks Boredguy) if we too are manually entering names pictures etc.

Been looking and speaking to Digital ID people, all the card printers seem fine, what I want to know is how easy can we get a database (SIMS) to link up to the imagebase ID software?

Our Sims decided to update itself last night... What fun I had this morning - Now who do I shout at as Intouch is now broken (worked yesterday) and the bl*@&y update wont work. Time for a twitter rant I think.

Broken by updating the Feb database and fixed by updating the March database and 2014 Spring release. I need a holiday...

How do we fix the incompatible database issue ?

If you are upgrading Discover on SOLUS3 you must use SOLUS3.6 and the server component will not upgrade if it is on Windows Server 2003 or XP If you are using SOLUS 3 version 3.5.20. it doesnt seem to find the Traget Version. The most recent version of Discover which is the Autumn release is incompatible with this version of SOLUS. There is an ISO available which you can use to download Discover onto a new workstations (rather than using SOLUS), please see information from the Autumn release notes: I did the manual install - now asking for a username and password to use discover through Sims... Here we go again

2 hours drive mate (Traffic Permitting) I think its too far as I drive 50 mile round trip and pay around £200 per month in fuel alone. Plenty of schools in your area, just drop a few CV with letter to Network Managers you never know. Good Luck

We are in the Settle Area Nothing advertised just yet, still fighting with SLT as they need to get rid of teachers. Basically we have a department of one and could do with three, but will probably end up with just two of us. ICT Technician, small school, windows 7, no Apple (not yet anyway) wages just under 18k for the right person. Great network, we have some fantastic kit (thanks JS - you know who you are) and great support too. This thread is more of an enquiry as we seem to struggle out here to employ the right candidate. Skipton schools have the same problem too. Anybody interested just drop me an email and I will see what I can do. - Cheers

Design the Future - UK | Autodesk Had a call today from a guy who's first language was not English offering me and the school FREE software just by registering a valid email address. I am always suspicious when its free. Anybody else had the same call and signed up?

I have a request for some kind of design tablet (NOT the i range) for teachers to use instead of a Smartboard. So project as normal onto a whiteboard / wall, allow teacher and student to hold this tablet and edit/draw/underline. I do not want to replace the PC with its split screen capabilities, just use a stylus style device. Any ideas... Cheers
