Currently running a 32" Sony Bravia. That'll do the job. Would like a full HD one though as the Bravia is only 720p but the PS3 does upscale some games to 1080p I've noticed.

Tehe, I think anyone would end up in a grave spending that much on a TV.... :getmecoat:

But if someone gave me one, I wouldn't say no. ;D

This chart tells you how big to go based on viewing distance - the idea being that a big telly too close lets you see all the pixels and looks rubbish. Roll on 4k...

Panasonic plasmas tend to have the best image quality, though I've got a couple of LGs (a plasma and an LED) and they're pretty darned good too. Useful page to tell you what TV is best at what size and viewing distance (HDTV Tests reviews are the ones to read anyway, from what I've found in the past)

I'm probably sitting at the point were the full benefit of 720p is noticable, boarding the start of getting benefit from 1080p. I could move the sofa a little closer ;)

For a 3-4 year old second hand telly I'm might impressed with the Panny. Noticably better than the previous Tosh LCD. Got Freeview and FreeSat HD built in (and working) and all my consoles perminantly hooked up (Dreamcast, XBox, PS3). And still have HDMI to spare for PS4 :D

Has anyone else pre-ordered the special edition? Or collectors for that matter?

I pre-ordered the Special Edition. I was considering the CE but I couldn't justify the price because I know I wouldn't have any use for the extra bits that come with it. Besides, although CE has the cool "Play online as previous GTA protagonists" feature I'm sure it'll be DLC you can purchase later on - like the 'Couriers' Stash' DLC for New Vegas that was the original pre-order item packs.

SE seemed worth it though. Additional weapons, bonus clothing, special abilities for each protagonist, and you still get the Blimp for pre-ordering. Happy days :D

Exactly my thoughts, I pre-ordered Special Edition. Only because of the value of the extra DLC's... You'd be looking at easily another £50 to by them separately... So I thought an extra £10 for SE was a bargain! Can't wait!

My PSN is horrendous, back from the days of COD 'clans' yes, I'm disappointed in myself too, but anyway I think it's this X-PrO-BuLLetZ-X. I'm more of a BF3, F1 2012 and Grid 2 kinda guy! and the only GTA come the 17th ;)
