I'm dubious about spending time in a virtual strip bar that shows up in your status on PSN.. It's a good thing I don't have it linked to any social media sites.

 

Edit: Come to think of it, I can't find the screenshot I saw so it's probably a hoax.

Gah my brother is whatsapping me photos of the game now he knows I haven't got it! Going round my brother-in-law's for a few drinks Saturday and I know he has it too - I don't think I'm gonna be able to wait til xmas!

So who has Spotify!? :-) I have just had a mad moment listening to all the GTA Playlists as it has all the in-game music... awesome! ;-)

Just put the GTA V radio tracks on here - first tune that came on shuffle: Still D.R.E by Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg. Class.

What's everyone's plans for Los Santos tonight? :p NO SPOILERS please guys as I'm not far into it! :)

Hopefully getting the game to successfully launch again after last nights loading error shenanigans. You'll find me gently shaking my PS3 up and down until the early hours trying to make it work.

 

...and if I do get into Los Santos I'll play through the early story missions as I love the way that in-game features are revealed at a digestible rate when you do this with GTA games.

I've just got my hands on mine, arrived yesterday in the office.

 

PS3 500GB slim GTA 5 Bundle - plus they just emailed me with a free code to get the Last of us for Free which is a promo they have on at the moment.

 

so all in all I have done pretty well for my £200

There's still no confirmation, though there are rumours, of any next-gen console versions of the game. Even if it is announced you'll likely be waiting at least 6-12 months for it so if you want to play GTA5 you're probably as well just buying a ps3 or 360. There's a great selection of games out for both consoles and even after that the Ps3 will still make for a good Blu-ray/Netflix player so it's not really money wasted. If you wanted to sell it after completing GTA and LOU you could probably get around £150 for it in the run up to Xmas for a 2 month old console with a couple of games!

 

Between GTA5 and the Last of Us that's reason enough to buy a PS3 in my opinion ! I still can't get over how impressive the graphics are for a game running on 7 year old hardware. Time to head back in to Los Santos.....

Well my Xbox was broken, tbh I don't play games that much (pretty much just GTA and Call of Duty), the main reason I bought the console too was for the blueray player.

Although the question/answer reads more like GTA VI, there's more hint's in this two part interview that the game was designed for current gen...

Sweet deal, you'll enjoy The Last of Us. Possibly worth playing before GTA:V - because it's both shorter and EPIC!

After last night I really wish we had the Share feature on PS3. I'd so be spamming Facebook with gameplay videos right now. I had Franklin steal a bus and park it Michaels garage :D

So anybody found any interesting locations?

 

The Blimp!! You have to take off from a racecourse! :D And just go off into the mountains, it's so pretty!

There's an early level I did last night (which I won't spoil for those who haven't got that far) involving Michaels Wife and her Tennis Coach. It involved a drive up into the hills. Just as you reach your final destination the view of the city from the hillside is breath taking.

I drove about a bit and drove a car up as far as i could up a hill, it then rolled back down the hill, I timed jumping out at the right time but didnt plan the landing.... managed to land on rocks and just die :(

I've just spent the last two days stealing cars and motorbikes and driving around everywhere. Sightseeing. Steal a police car and you get a nice pump-action shotgun ;-)
