Could someone please post something cheerful on the EduGeek homepage please. It's cold and it's dark, payday seems like a life time ago and it's hard enough to get out of bed as it is but the thought of loading up the EduGeek site is fast dropping off my list of things to do when the main two articles are about two pioneers in the ICT sector meeting their maker. Could we get some Dilbert or something otherwise I feel my bitter end may be appearing soon.

Your Faithfully,

I got Friday off because it was a training day scheduled for Ofsted preparation, and they've already been in!

Mind you, took enough arguing with the Head for him to give support staff the day off as well. In the end the Head of Finance went in with a list of us fulltimers (the few, the brave) and put it down on his desk and outright said "so you're telling me these people didn't contribute?"

I love how valued we are some times.

If that doesn't cheer you up, well, it's half term next week anyway. Bit of peace and quiet!

I've broke my finger and have to have it pinned as it's a nasty oblique fracture that can easily slip. Hey, wait, this post isn't all doom and gloom! You have to learn to take the positives from things like this, and the positive in my situation is I don't have to do the washing up at home, and I don't have to help tidy the office up on Friday! :D
