Classroom video camera to record lessons
Templar replied to SimpleSi's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Have you any visualisers in school? The Genee range have models with CCD camera's (same type as in CCTV) and can record directly to SD card - would that work? -
Lord of the Rings Blu-Ray set £15 at Amazon. Any good though?

well worth £15 mate ... snap their hands off!! -
@ Sippo ..... a good place to start is Sports Direct mate ..... I get my lads kits from there all the time and they are reasonably priced pretty much every time I go in. You can PM me if you dont mind shall we say *cough cough* slightly less than authentic kits as I know several places that offer them and you genuinely cant tell the difference ( I have a 6 year old footie obsessed lad with 9 kits .... its the only way I can survive financially lol)

If you live in Brum you have Birmingham Wheels on your doorstep .... I have done loads of cool driving in the past there including mini racing (stock cars) etc .... this was some years ago now though but worth checking none the less. I have also done the DB9 thing as already mentioned, which is awesome but expensive!

LOL, I thanked your post cos its been a very busy day here for me and that made me giggle!! Nice work mate

'Increase access to technology in the classroom"
Templar replied to sidewinder's topic in General Chat
Really it depends on what the Head/School wants to achieve .... it really is a broad brief that one! I would ask the question what he expects once you offer him options for increasing access to technology in the classroom. If you have an idea of what direction he wants to take the increased access in then you will have a better idea of what to offer him as potential solutions. -
Depends really .... if you want an actual visualiser then steer clear of the Easi View things as they are simple document cameras mounted on sticks!! - There are several entry level visualisers including both models mentioned in the thread so far as well as this Document Camera, Document Cameras, Genee Vision 100, Genee Vision 150 hope that helps?

Hi, Can any one help please? I need some documentation that refers to the usage of Smart/Promethean software on a 3rd party IWB ... I know I have seen this somewhere but cant for the life of me find it!! I know that the software can be used with a 3rd party IWB but need some legal definition if possible. Thanks in advance.

Worked like a charm .... you sir are a gentleman and a scholar!! Many thanks for your help

Thanks again m8, I would have simply used the VLC app as I love that player but from what I have read the app itself is no longer suppoerted .... Ill give FlexPlayer a whirl when I get home .... cheers
-
Many thanks, I'll give that a whirl .... does that mean that I would then be safe to remove the file share apps I use currently such as 4shared etc and the files will then be stored locally on the Ipad?
