I used to use Wininstaller LE but you cannot create MSI's using it on Windows 7. Which i need to do as i want to try and create an MSI for some graphics drivers (which failed to install under xp as its not running 7!) otherwise i would do it that way! I can do all other software on XP aslong as its throughly tested on 7 fine just for these graphics cards!

Really? I've not really had a problem with it when I've been mucking around with package creation for Win 7 - though I accept it could be a versioning issue as there are several Wininstal LE products available, some more picky than others.

What version are you using?

Repackaging drivers is not going to be easy with the free MSI creation programs. Which drivers are you trying to install?

probably better to look at scripting it tbh than repacking as an msi

That's what I was thinking. You can silently install nVidia and Intel driver EXEs using the appropriate command-line switches.

I am noticing that a lot of these no longer work or need a product key that never arrives. Does anyone have a key for WinINSTALL LE 10.10 at all please? All I need to do is package easi-view.
