A little belated this one. My Nexus One had a power button failure couple of weeks back. I phoned them on a Friday and arranged pickup for the Monday. I then spent the weekend trying to get a variety of 'loaner' phones running a plethora of old phone OS's to connect to our Exchange mail before settling on an old Windows Mobile 6.1 device. They picked the phone up on Monday, and had it back with me by the Friday. I was very impressed, so well done HTC and your UK support :)

*Using Windows Mobile 6.1 after having a modern smartphone is like going on a really, really long appointment to the dentist!

Glad you had good experience with them, have mine (desire) through Tmobile and needed it repairing under warranty, they apparently use HTC for repair yet it took them 6 weeks (2 attempts) to sort it out.

Dont let @john hear you say that about Windows Mobile Phones! lol

Me and DB go on about Phones often, he knows I love my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone, but I don't find it like a long trip to see my dentist I love mine :) Although the signal strength isn't as good as it was so I suspect the handset is wearing now, it is a few yeas old and had alot of use and hammer so time to consider a new Windows Phone I think.

HTC Support is excellent, I sent my current one away for a warranty repair AKA new speaker so I could talk to people without speakerphone and this was just before Christmas they said from the outset I wouldn't see it before the New Year due to the holidays (they send them to Germany for repair) and I was accepting of this fact, but I had t back within 72hrs and they had cleaned it and replaced the screen protector for me! Very good service which is why I do like my HTC phones :)

I'm not sure 'love' is a strong enough word here... ;)

You on a Touch Diamond still?

You on a Touch Diamond still?

Touch Pro and have been for about 3 years now :)

New Phone is starting to look more and more like a HTC Pro 7 which is the Windows Phone 7 version of the same thing :)
