It was constantly slow, often down etc. SLT in their usual fashion would like a fast, reliable webhost for not much money - quotes such as "if you find a webhost with like 2 servers instead of 1 then we would obviously go for them" have came into conversation So anyway, anyone still using csnewmedia - they still any good? How many times has it been down? Is it fast? All we want is a mysql db with a few mb space, php and <1gb storage. Traffic wise we don't use more than 1gb per month on average but when we had snow at winter our visits jumped from a few a day to several thousand so we need the bandwidth to cope.

I use both companies for a mixture of different things and never have an issue or notice any down time. Maintenance is done out of hours so no one can be affected. James. 2

It'll be luxury for you to use CSNM - as I used to call Fasthosts Farcehosts 10 years ago when I was in the webdev world, and from what I've read they've only gone downhill from there! Butuz 1
CAM Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 CSNewMedia customer here and use it for my personal site.Predominately dev playground and mailserver but it works well (if a few too many logins to remember!) And Carl can be lightning fast. I swear he is never logged out of his mailbox... 1
