What are you wearing on your feet?

I normally wear like a canvas sand shoe/ninja slipper. The only downside to them is the lack of protection if anything gets dropped on them and also if I'm on my feet all day running around like a blue-bottomed fly then mild blisters do sometimes occur.

Steel toe capped boots of the sort that can be polished and look acceptable as "shoes" when worn with trousers must have hooks rather than eyelets at the top for faster removal! Usually get the Aldi/Lidl or Shoezone ones <£25 as I've found that I often crack man-made soles and leather soles wear through too quickly.

I wear steel toe caps because of the number of times staff or students have put a chair leg down on the top of my foot because they weren't sitting on it properly - what we call 'gargling'.

Nice shiny shoes. Just got some new ones as my last pair were starting to wear a bit thin on the soles. Only had them 5 or 6 years too, they just don't make stuff like they used to do.
