Gatt Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Car pre-flight checks complete (Air / Water / Oil / Petrol) SatNav programmed and ready with backup route plan from Google Maps printed Laptop and phones on charge and all necessary kit packed up Thermos flask looked out and cleaned.. EduGeek Cap and Polo Shirt washed and ready Clean Underwear - (just in case - don't want to be the laughing stock at an A&E!!) Wife suitably bribed with trip to Drayton Manor for her and the sprog later... I am a GO for departure at about 0660 or 0630 tomorrow morning!!

Tim Travel and hotels The venue is easy to get to and you can get the location and directions from this site here: http://www.uclan.ac.uk/information/services/fm/services/conferences/travel.php And for those of you using sat-nav you can use this address to find your way: Westleigh Conference Centre Lea Road PR4 0RB Preston From an earlier post by Dos_Box: It's a 5 mile walk from the station to the hotel. A bus journey (number 22,23 from outside the Dog and Partridge on Friargate) is 10 mins and costs £1.40 to Black Bull lights, and a 4 min walk from there.
