  1. We say you can import pupil data from most MIS, but we don't exactly specify what pupil data. We will have to tighten that up I think just in case.
  2. I'll send them an email today and let them know that to output the correct data should be possible with Facilty, they should contact the support there in order to get the correct data. (it really shouldn't be our problem to fix it).
  3. I bought one yesterday from CPC (with a case). Did some tests - the GPIO16 line now looks like it doesn't light the ACT LED anymore (the GPIO16 line is now on the expansion connector) - so ACT looks like it's generated by actual IO to the SDCard. There is a RUN jumper that I'm guessing is the same as the P6 jumper on the model B - a reset switch. Very handy to link up.
  4. Thanks for the info - that's what I thought should happen. Looks like the school can't get support from Serco and haven't bought the latest version so can't get support from 'Advanced Learning' either - so they are relying on us to add what they have been able to export. I'll get back to them and get them to type things in by hand.
  5. Hi All, We have a school using 'Serco's Facility' and they are trying to output data from the system as a CSV file for import into (the new) ReportAssist (my program! ). The problem is that they are saying the program outputs the data as sessions for the total possible in the year and days for other data such as present and absent. It outputs percentages for all the other figures such as unauthorised. They say there is no way to output the data all as one type, either all sessions, all days, etc.. Is this right? Or is the option to do this buried in the program settings or something?
  6. @simonstubbsets : If you check the ReportAssist.com website you should find that they have (fully) updated the software this year. The new version works on Windows XP - 8.1 and OSX Mountain Lion and above.
  7. imho (I haven't looked at Literature) the changes the changes to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the other subjects looks pretty good to me. They seem to have looked at what other countries steaming ahead of the UK are up to and have tweaked things to follow the same methods. Haven't looked beyond KS2 though, that might be a different story altogether.
  8. Yep, there in non-commercial capacity... Thanks - see you there!
  9. I tried the 'Contact us' because I 'officially' am a supplier, but no-one has replied. So today I filled in the EventBrite form (but had to tick the waiver). Can someone contact me? Thanks.
  10. Hi All, I've made a mini tutorial on how to start coding a game in Lua using GiderosMobile. I'm using it to help teach some year 5 'code clubbers' and it was used to help teach some secondary (year 8/9?) pupils on an open day at a local school. Here is a link to the tutorial: http://www.sinistersoft.com/downloads/GamesGuide.pdf I'm adding a second tutorial and will update the first one soon. Here is the zip file for the stuff for the second tutorial: http://t.co/sYif66AZyQ It's good if you have some advanced pupils who have outgrown Scratch and don't like the look of Python and want to create something that will run on their tablet or phone. I'd appreciate feedback (good or bad) so I can make improvements to the pdf and make it a better free resource for everyone.
  11. Tried contacting you as I am a 'supplier' - but no reply...
  12. Thanks for both of your replies. I didn't want to have to go down this route, but I might see what's involved becoming a capita partner.
  13. An exported file, plus can you re-import exported files?
