Crysis is awesome on Xbox 360. Got it on friday and didnt have chance to play until sunday when i thought i would have a quick whirl. Found myself playing for the best part of 3 hours.

Wrong, Gameplay is much quicker on console compared to PC. Proven fact at a LAN gaming event.

Erm what?!?! Quicker to die maybe due to autoaim/no mouse

wish they would allow console/pc matches, could be entertaining.

Microsoft research tried this for years, what they found was you get a bunch of average pc gamers against the very best console gamers and the console gamers lost nearly every time and they couldnt find a proper way to rebalance it.

As for crysis 2, yeh it rocks and its rocking good on pc at my end.

Ive personally got it on the 360 and its awesome, multiplayer seems good fun too, spent a lot of time over the weekend on the campaign and im still going, im impressed at the length of it (ooh err) but compared to most modern day shooters its epic! great fun to play, stunning graphics, the sounds are awesome and just damn good blast :)

I played the demo and loved it. May have to invest after my holiday. :)

The BEST way to play any FPS game is on the PC. Superior graphics, superior controls, superior online play. Plus you don't have to pay to play all your games online.

I would have LOVED to have seen/be a part of this!

The ultimate show of superiority will be when BF3 is released! 32 players online for console players, 64 for PC players! Not to mention how sexy it will look. :)

...as they have with a few games. Gears of War, GTAIV, BF:BC2, FarCry 2, COD:MW2, Operation Flashpoint 2 etc. Fingers crossed BF3 will be designed primarily for PC and ported to console.

I have the same issue. Honeymoon in Mexico for a fortnight. :)

Well if you're both going to let silly things like that come between you and a good game it's your own fault. You need to get your priorities straight! :p

Have just started the single player now (not interested in multiplay anymore, went off it after the original Counterstrike) so I'm sure I'll be in trouble at home for disappearing for long times to play it!

Ok so here is where I just feel totally left out!

I LOVE this type of game. But I just can't get my head (or rather fingers) around a controller!

I have tried honest.

PC playing again I just get totally lost on controls. I loved the quake HL era, but feel left behind. Can anyone help? I would love to play some of these games.

wasd to move, b for the visor, v to melee attack, q for armor, e for cloak and im sure n does something too but have forgotten!

you dont need to use them all at once so as long as you have the wasd setup ok i dont see the prob?

When ever I go to shoot I end up firing all over the place!

Never could learn the piano when it went to using both hands at once

Maybe reducing your mouse sensitivity right down so that you can control your viewing movement easier, then increase it gradually when you adapt?

Just out of interest, I thought I'd put my configs in....

I tend to use the arrows for movement, with UP being jump and down being backwards.

Then, because that's a preety clean area of the keyboard, I use "0" and "1" on the keypad for secondary weapons.

"Ctrl" becomes crouch

"Shift" becomes prone

"End becomes reload

"Delete" and "Page Down" become sway left and right

Based around this area of the keyboard has worked very well over the years, and I have managed to convert lots of friends to "MY" way of thinking!

This does seem to make games a little easier!
