Got the Kinect for my birthday from wifes family. Have been playing about with it happily until last weekend when I was trying to play a game on the Kinect and also kick the soft plush ball for the dog. Not concentrating enough I tried to kick the ball and kicked straight into the ground (concrete floor under carpet). Heard a nice big click and was on the floor in agony (which the Kinect kindly recorded and showed me after my games as one of my "highlights!"). Pretty sure I've broken my big toe, and as there's nothing that can be done, having to endure the constant niggling little pain.

Stupid Kinect

Stupid ball

Stupid dog

Stupid floor

This is in no way my fault, it's all the above named fault!

Sorry to hear that. Sounds painful. :(

You ought to get it checked out to make sure that it isnt dislocated or out of line - they can do something about that

Definitely get it looked at at...there's a high probability that your toe is dis-Kinected...wah wah wah waaahhhh!

:getmecoat:

Do you write the intros to CSI Miami by any chance?!?!

I find it funny how even the Kinect took the mick. :D

Yeah.....funny :p

It came up with "now lets have a look at your highlights" and it shows me playing then laying on the floor....all to music!!

YouTube ? Can you export the incident?

Not sure if it's still saved, I didnt share it so i'm assuming it just forgets the video unless you tell it specifically not to

Thankfully I haven't punched anyone while playing (unlike the youtube vid of that guy taking his daughters head off!) and we don't have ceiling lights in the living room so no worry of smashing them. only thing i have to worry about now is playing football and kicking towards the tv.....make sure no loose shoes :p
