ChrisH Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Somebody mentioned a package that you could configure, send out to someone and then you can do remote support for that person. Can find it on the search though. Somebody enlighten me I need to fix my mothers PC in Oz.
Norphy Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Are you and your mother using XP? Would Remote Assistance not do the trick?
eduabncs Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 www.logmein.com should do the trick. I agree...I use it to support my dad and half-brothers who live in Oz, as well as other family members & friends here in the UK.
Uraken Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Ultravnc is also very good for this but it means you have to set up your own machine as a host server and then build a exe that someone can download. i run it to give remote support options to my private business customers.
