Does anyone know how to do the funky 'rotating' windows thing? You layer the windows one behind the other on the desktop and they rotate to bring focus on the one you want to work on.

I just want to show off.

I like Aero/Glass too.. just don't think there is a place for it in the school environment. When we do eventually deploy Vista, I'll probably use it without the Glass

Why they havent included an XP style theme in Vista I don't know.. cos i would have used that instead of Aero.

Windows Classic man... can't beat it - fast, functional and productive )
You might as well go back to DOS or Windows 1 then Craig, then again your probably a bit too young to remember them

Nope, not really :) Not realistic to use those either - software these days won't run on those

I find getting things done is best achieved when windows aren't wobbling and flying about everywhere, and things are a lot quicker and more responsive when extra effort isn't put in to making the former bells and whistles perform :D

Hey I would be lost without my puzzles and e-sticky notes in my Vista sidebar, its ace just for those! Oh yeah and the weather forecast for my actual village!!

I dont know, we have tranparency here, and as soon as we put it on the students stopped moaning about the fact that it was Linux, heres a rubbish screenshot showing some transparency: http://linuxgfx.co.uk/project/ataglance/profiles/linuxdesktop.png

That saying, I don't thinkI will install beryl (which does the funky, rolling windows etc... more can be seen here:

) as we would have problems with students swapping desktops etc!! They would play around so much that wouldn't get any work done!!
