As per my experience Sortshot application for iPad is really amazing!!!! In this application we can add tags and tagging options also include personalized keywords, ratings, favourites, or type of media – photo or video. Tapping on a tag provides instant results so that we can further refine our search with additional tags and keywords...

scrabble is also really great...

i drag pdfs onto iTunes and they go into iBook. easy to read. also have aji reader installed and quickoffice connect, both useful for attachments.

I'm guessing it's probably GoSkyWatch. They do a free version for ipad and a paid version for ipad and iphone

I've got Star Map 3D which was $0.99 or $1.99 but works really well, point and look sort of thing, plus you can choose what you're looking for out of the catalog and it will point you where to look. pretty amazing i must say.

By far the most used app on my iPad is my Slingplayer client....

Closely followed by ORB and air video.

 

For work stuff Snmp tools although FileBrowser is becoming a regularly accessed app.
