I come across it on stumble.. some guy attached two strips of strong velco to the back of the ipad, and then the other side on a wall, dashboard of a car, back of a car headrest, motorbike fuel tank and a ceiling. This way you can use the ipad conveniently as a digital picture frame, GPS / Satnav, in car entertainment or stare at it when your lying in bed. I thought it was genius. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of the link so I can't find it again

rolfea Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 It's not an application, it's on the internet, but there's a presentation application called Prezi.. it looks like it would be AMAZING on a touch screen.

If you use Keynote for your presentations it allows you to remotely control the keynote pres on your iPhone (and I would imagine iPad) using the wireless network. But saying that you have the ability to VGA out from the iPad and have keynote app for it so it would make more sense doing that way. So probably forget all that i said Angry Birds. Good, fun game.

Therefore we're on the hunt for a cross section of apps (free or paid for) for all departments. We've got: pUniverseHD which is an astronomy app, quite shiny to play with. Shakespeare which is literally all of shakespeares works in an app. Free 3d Brain which shows the parts of the brain in 3d! designed for the iphone/touch, blown up to ipad size it's a little pixelated, but does the job. Note that he used Industrial Strength velcro - beware of imitations. I could only find the stuff on eBay from US suppliers, so I had to wait a bit but now I have 20 feet of the stuff in both black and white. -- David Hicks

I'm loving it, and today after one of our clients busted their 2 node Hyper-V cluster our guru used his to RDP in from holiday in Taipei and fixed it! I think I have just about got everything I need installed now, For Productivity, QuickOffice - edit Office Docs and save directly to cloud storage. Scany - TCP/IP Scanning tools ITap - RDP Teamviewer HD Dropbox Adobe Ideas Timelogger iAccounts I use L2TP VPN to the office Sonicwall NSA where I have a dedicated Win7 VM on the Hyper-V server with all of the system tools installed including Solarwinds and Orion Toolkits. For entertainment, Slingplayer Mobile - connects to dedicated Slingboxes so I can watch the Live Matchday Streams we have access to. Orb Airvideo - this connects to the server App installed on my Windows Home Server and SAN TV Catchup BBC iPlayer Traffic TV - never leave home without checking it first. London Bus - Tube Status for when Im working in town. F1 App Angry Birds Let's Golf Facebook Tweetdeck ISip - Softphone Skype 2
