garethEds Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 A weird one this but for some reason since the re-design I find myself visiting Edugeek less - has this happened to anyone else? I have no issue with the re-design, but was thinking to myself yesterday. I have too much spare time. GJE
kmount Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 For a while yes, I detested the change but now I've grown to forget them.
sparkeh Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Yeah my activity has reduced, not down to the redesign though. After getting used to the new look it I like it a lot now.
kmount Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Yeah my activity has reduced, not down to the redesign though. Generally mine too, again not down to the design.
localzuk Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Mine is as much as ever, if not more. Maybe its a bit of ying and yang going on...
Sylv3r Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 This is my first visit in about 4 days - just catching up on all the posts now!
tom_newton Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Im still finding "new posts" to be less effective, but thats probably increased my page clicks Think i post less - but maybe because im so damn busy because no bugger wants to come and work here hint hint
tom_newton Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Chris, No - was fuuuull. Turns out I have avoided sharing a room - as Richard has found himself unable to attend - instead of Me, chris bragan and Richie, you've got me Chris and Claire. So we have had to shunt Chris out of the hotel, claire and I get a room each.. so all is good. Except I probably get lumbered with more "organisey" jobs.
maniac Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I haven't been here as much, but that's mainly because I'm busy planning summer projects and a million and one other things.
steveg Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I've not used it as much since the re-design. 99% of my time on here was on the forums, and the old 10 latest threads was (im my opinion) better than the current system of latest posts - its often hard to work out what a thread is about by only being able to read the latest post, and because there is only space on the side for a few of them, if there are 2 or 3 from the same thread then you dont get to see many new threads. I recently discovered the new posts bit of the forum, but often just quickly pop past the front page and used to post on any topics that caught my eye, but generally dont now. Steve
laserblazer Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I have too much spare time. GJE Could it be the opposite? I've been so busy the last few weeks, sorting reports, SIMMS assessment and other stuff, I've not had as much time. I'm only here now because I'm waiting for a project to render.
