RabbieBurns Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 anyone recommend anything please? dont have a label printer or a direct-to-cd printer but just looking for something to print to paper and stick onto the cd top
RabbieBurns Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 unfortunately its for a computer illiterate nursery teacher, so something point and click is needed..
LeMarchand Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) Do you want something that can print the round labels, or the actual inserts? (Have you checked your burning software, btw? There's quite often a basic prog bundled). P.S. If the former, I was under the impression that this wasn't a great idea (even with an "applier") as it can imbalance the disc. Could be an old wives' tale, though. Edited June 14, 2010 by LeMarchand P.S.
LeMarchand Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Pretty sure the Press It software is free - they hope you'll but the hardware to go with it. 1
Dos_Box Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 @RabbieBurnsPlease remove your sig. It's almost 500k in size and we are receiving complaints from those on slower connections.
RabbieBurns Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 haha and Im sure the content isnt whats being complained about
RabbieBurns Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 CoverXP is also pretty good Ah cheers, Ive used that before. Thanks
john Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Publisher has CD Templates built into it assuming you have publisher on the PC 1
enjay Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Acoustica is free for schools, prints the discs and covers. I would suggest getting a direct-to-CD printer though, as I've found the sticky labels tend to come off after a while.
