russdev Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 Do the vouchers continue to work or do they stop after you have used them so many times? Russ
danrhodes Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 They continue to work as long as your signed up to Graze.
powdarrmonkey Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Here we go here is my box that came today... postal spam to Russ's school!!1eleventyone!
Sarconia Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 My Graze box should arrive tomorrow, I like to save my treats for Fridays (for it is the best working day). You're supposed to eat them over the course of the day but I tend to much mine all in one go as by the time I've waited for lunch and then walked home to pick it up and then back to work, I'm really hungry. Some of the food included is absolutely awesome, I had a punnet with some dried physallis in the other week - they were so tangy and nice it was unbelievable, I've been trying to find somewhere which sells them on their own but I've not had any luck yet. I've also been trying to reverse engineer some of the foods, I've had at least 2 attempts at Korean chilli crackers already and each time I've ended up with a splodge of spicy rice which whilst it tastes ok... wasn't exactly what I intended! I can't find a recipie online either, does anyone have a recipie or know roughly how they are made?

I also discovered that not only am I capable of eating two large bags of chilli rice crackers in half an hour, the spice only hits you after you've stopped eating them.
danrhodes Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 "physallis" sounds like a nasty genital disease, I don't like the taste of this little orange fruit, too tangy!
skawarrior Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 They continue to work as long as your signed up to Graze. I didn't realise that I assumed the codes only worked three times as I had three physical vouchers in my booklet. I'm hoping I get Cherries tomorrow as I've noticed they are back in stock
skawarrior Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Haven't had my second box yet though, was on holiday last week so didn't bother what with a fridge full of food. Has anybody used one of these? Bento Box - buy at Firebox.com I've been thinking of getting one but not sure if there are better products available

PeteM Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Will cooked rice give you food poisoning if it's not stored in the fridge? - Health & Wellbeing Just a heads up about cooked rice if you're not eating it right away
danrhodes Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I haven't got anything today, looks like im taking a walk to the shop this dinner time!
witch Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Got mine yesterday - only thing I am not keen on is the smoked nuts. the rest of it is lovely. Difficult to stop eating them though! It amazes me that they can do it for the price - I know it is all computerised but it is still quite a lot of effort, and there must be a fair proportion geting half price or free boxes at any one time

Plus there must be some sort of deal with Royal Mail. Even so, not bad value at all. Just put the smoked nuts in your 'bin' list and you won't get them again. I'm going to start ordering them again, now that I'm cycling to work.
Daniel_Son Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Boots meal deal FTW... if only boots was closer forgot lunch again !
Sarconia Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Not sure how they're made, but I did discover to my delight that Tescos sell huge bags for £1.99. How have I missed these? I'm definitely going to have to take a harder look in Tescos tonight... it's strange, I spend most of my time in Tescos down the world foods aisle (where I assume they would be) and it's a ridiculously huge branch (Tescos Purley - if anyone has ever been there you'll know how insane it is!). On the subject of Rice... I'd no idea that leaving Rice out could make you feel rather ill... the other week I had some rice from the takeaway, only managed to eat a small amount of it so I left it on the side for about a day and then decided to stick it in the fridge where it sat for about 5 days until I decided to eat it. It sounds a bit dodgy I know but then again, I ate a piece of cod the week before which once again had been in my fridge for a bit too long and it definitely tasted a bit off.... but I ate it anyway. Excellent immune system for the win I'd say - I don't think I've ever been ill with food poisoning in my life.

Bento Box - buy at Firebox.com I've been thinking of getting one but not sure if there are better products available That looks quality. I'd buy one this minute if it wasnt for the mixed reviews...some saying its great, some saying its rubbish
AWicher Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) That looks quality. I'd buy one this minute if it wasn't for the mixed reviews...some saying its great, some saying its rubbish I don't think starting of there pitch with "gargle raw sewage" really got me in the mood But i might look more into it after eating my weeks graze box in one afternoon Edited June 15, 2010 by AWicher
AWicher Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 OK - so I failed - I ate it all!! That's my problem. I wont eat if food is out of arms length, so just work all day until i get home. but put food in front of me i will eat it till its gone! Just like the cake thats been brought to me from staff room (Might have to visit there more often, hmm 2nd though might just keep away still) http://web11.twitpic.com/img/115827965-ba03007c104756f255a51bff2cd49fcf.4c175d30-scaled.jpg
powdarrmonkey Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I've been having the same problem with my graze boxes lately I budgeted to make them last at least two days each!
