That's all I'm saying, just god (or any other $diety, I'm quiet agnostic so I really don't care which imaginary entity wants to take credit) bless aircon!!!

We've just had aircon put in one of the ICT Suites at one of my schools (the other has had it for a while) and given this ICT Suite might as well be in a conservatory (literally, it's made from the same stuff and nearly as much glass) it is a flippin God send .. :)

Just took a walk in the glorius sunshine over to the junior school to look at a PC. I think I left half of me in a puddle on the floor. I don't know what temp it is out side but an ICT suite with 20 computer pelting out heat and no air-con or fans is not a fun place to be. I trapsed back to the office enjoying the sun a bit less, feeling grimey and sweety, yueck!

Grabbed the remote - 19 degrees C  - I think I might just turn the oscillate on for a bit of fun :D

30c in the office and we're melting. Next week, our helpdesk will consist of us working from laptops sat under the shade of a tree in the field.

I'm thinking of testing a disaster recovery scenario where our office was not available (for unspecified reasons) we have to work in another location.

I'm thinking pub beer garden - they have wifi :)

Good thinking Steve. Find some "Caution: biohazard" signs to stick on the office door for added effect :)

Online-Sign v3 fast free customised printable safety signs that site will solve that issue, they will no doubt have the logo, just fill the box for the text in, print and job done :D Saves me a fortune in signage for Warning Fibre Optics in this area.

Our Datamanager said that would be a nice idea, but then remembered the little brezze blowing through and the 800+ pages of reports she was dealing with so decided its maybe not such a good idea.

Im not in the server room and yet i have a portable aircon unit sat next to my desk chilling me....

Got the Air Con in my office and was helping, but doesn't help my office gets full sun on its flat roof and thus we bake :(
