Batman Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 I'm partial to a nice pint of local bitter, we have many small breweries near me :-) Strangely enough I live about ten minutes walk from the Carlsberg brewery in Northampton, just the other side of the river. When the wind is blowing the right way we can smell the hops. Is that local enough? Not that I even drink.

The smell they pumped out day in day out made us all feel sick.

(Or both?!) :D The way I see it, we all have the choice - I don't have a television either, I'm happy to do without it - but I do drink copious amounts of fizzy pop at times.

It has sat there since xmas because a) only 2 of us drink beer and it was given to us as a team so we'd feel bad about scarfing it and b) none of us particulalry like Carlsberg. We'll probably take it to the Staff Summer BBQ and neck it all!!
