For complaining about my 'guess what I saw today' posting....

Satire: A literary work in which human vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit.

Hey Matt, that's nothing - I posted a tweet on Twitter today that said, "Hey Gordon, there's a Big Issue pitch going in my town. Good spot just outside Iceland. #ukelection #ge2010", and I had a rather snotty email reply from the Office of the Labour Deputy PM, no less! Result!

And had your post been ANY of the above, I'm sure people would have found it funny.

(no, it wasnt me who reported it OR dealt with it)

Thing is Witch I don't think you find anything funny or amusing - please don't take 'a-fence' but there are some right stiff people who take life, ICT and this site way too seriously - never mind though I am sure something will be able to be done for these people in the future. Modern medicine techniques are advancing every day !!

I repeat: it wasn't me that reported or dealt with it - so quite what your comment re my ability to find something funny, or not, is about, goodness knows.

But then, and don't YOU take offence - most of the time I have no idea what you are going on about, neither do I have the interest to try and work it out...

I was merely commenting on the fact that you seem to believe that people's right to report any post they wish to is somehow wrong.

Hey, I can vouch for the medicine - it works!

Soooo...if I took the medicine I would find mattx funny - but I would have to wear socks and sandals???

I hardly take offence to anything said on here, it's the stiffs who do - just wondering though, if you [ and I quote ]

' most of the time I have no idea what you are going on about'

Do you feel you have the right to remove / edit some of my postings ?

Seems a strange way to do things, delete and edit things you don't understand. But thanks for giving me a hint on the way you monitor postings, it explains a great deal.

It's nice having a two way dialogue with you which have not resulted in edited / removed posts and in which I now have a better understanding of how things work.

@mattx: Here's a proposal. Why not set up an independent blog-type site (Posterous and Tumblr are good suggestions) where you post all your stuff. Then link to those from EduGeek. When the EduPolice delete your posts here, at least those of us with a sense of humour know you have an external presence and we can still read your stuff; even if it means we can't discuss them here.

I don't think I saw the post that you mention, and this wrangles me because I enjoy most of your stuff :)

I want to see Cameron, Clegg and Brown mud-wrestling naked in a kid's paddling pool full of mud in a pub beer garden. That'll sort it.

That's your solution to everything

Shall we throw in MattX and the Queen as well?

I'd have thought a fluorescent mankini would be more entertaining.

Deal. The thinner the better. I enjoy a good floss.
