What a wonderful place to stay... EduGeek Appreciation Thread!

Having just read bits of a different post it made me realise that this is a pretty cool place on the web... though it seems like some have gotten a bit too used to it and want to make sure we have "equal rights" and stuff like that...

 

I think posting on EduGeek is a bit like staying in someone else's home, with the warmest welcome. Nobody expects me to do the washing up or tidy up I'm just here to be and that's it... no obligations. It's a very generous place indeed. I'm a guest in a lovely house where we all help each other, some give a lot, some give a little but it's all appreciated and I wouldn't dare to demand anything. It's quite utopian actually... I'd better stop before someone accuses me of being a communist

 

So anyway - thanks to you who run this household and make it a wonderful place to stay. I can only show appreciation for your work and hospitality

hahaha... no, actually I've not noticed that.

 

Although if it interests you I am planning to spoil my ballot.

Spoilt ballots are such a shame, I have counted votes during local and national elections in previous years and all that happens to spoilt ballots is they get chucked in a different basket and thrown away.

 

There really should be a box you can tick to positively abstain from the election.

If enough people did it they would have to make it an option. They should at least count them in order to say "X number of spoiled ballots".

Yes, there is some c**p (!) on here sometimes, particularly if you are a mod, but even so, most people are friendly so as long as you DNFTT all is well
