CESIL Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Well I am not surprised at this http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-3.75&soc=-4.82 But as I don't feel any party reflects my views I am really not sure who to vote for this time. Oh and I also feel that I am getting more disenchanted with whole political system as I get older...perhaps we need a new system where we all vote directly on political matters... Ant n Dec hosting a live Saturday night referendum show anybody?
webman Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Ant n Dec hosting a live Saturday night referendum show anybody? We all know how bad ITV are at dealing with TV voting
SteveBentley Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Ant n Dec hosting a live Saturday night referendum show anybody? Simon Cowell has already proposed something similar IIRC
srochford Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Disguise? If so its a thinly veiled one, Gordon is practically a Thatcherite! Which is why it's so funny when people are so desperate to get rid of him and bring in a Conservative government - there's really not much difference between many of this government's policies and those which the Tories want (although, of course, as politicians they can't say that because they have to pretend that they are totally different!)

6Foot2 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 This is the result for me: http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-4.00&soc=-6.72
tmcd35 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Disguise? If so its a thinly veiled one, Gordon is practically a Thatcherite! Certainly not what I voted for when I put the 'X' next to Labour at the last election. I actually think a hung parliament could be a good thing for the country at the moment. A-men to that! Simon Cowell has already proposed something similar IIRC 'The P-Factor', 'Politicians on Ice', 'Ministerial Saturday Night Giveaway', I could go on... Cost's £5 per minute to vote. You will be kept on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes and your vote won't be counted until after Ant & Dec have pre-selected the winner, at which point your vote just won't count Sounds not too far from the status quo
laserblazer Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Interesting how many of us were bottom left.#, along with Nelson mandela. I can live with that.

laserblazer Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Party Manifesto - 1. Armed forces to be issued with daisys to replace handgranads 2. Free drugs on the NHS 3. Free broadband for everyone 4. Scrape BSF Paid for by taxing anyone who earns more than the average NM at 90% £5000 a day and I can make that happen
BatchFile Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) I actually think a hung parliament could be a good thing for the country at the moment. A-men to that! +1 of course a hung parliament effectively means the Lib Dems are in power - Labour and Conservative usually cancel each other out so the Lib dems position would be decisive. Edited March 22, 2010 by BatchFile Put it into English!
LosOjos Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I wonder if it's something to do with the technical mind that we're mostly on the left? I've always known I'd have been a hippy if I were around in the 60's
BatchFile Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 forgot to screen grab but I'm (-2,2) as well:confused: it's true - there are no right wing techies??
SteveT Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-7.62&soc=-5.44 Seems about right, apart from kids/staff who damage laptops ......... I'd be top right if there were questions about them!!!
