I'm just in the planning stages for 2 conferences. The Chorley one in May and one near Edinburgh in August. What I need however is the dates for the May half term and when the exam results are due in during the summer holidays (if known). Any help?

I think GCSE results day is 24th August 2010 and A-Level results day is usually the week before.

They have changed this year, last minute change which they announced with this summers results!!! The A Levels are first and then the following week at the start of it not an exact 7 days later are GCSEs.

19th is the Public date for A Levels

24th is the Public date for GCSE Results

BUT schools on EDI (which must be all of us by now) are on the 18th and 23rd.

So what I'm saying in a round about sort of way avoid 17th till the 25th I guess

Half term for us is 31st May till 4th June so the College Website says

We would love too. We have been invited to the London Grid conf at the end of march, so will be down there to meet as many of you as we can, but with the Scottish, Chorley and US events we simply cannot afford to do one down there as each event costs us about £5000 and also takes a hell of a lot of organising. Perhaps next year we can sort something out, but I'm afarid at the moment it is out of the question.
