A family member has asked for a Wii fit board for crimbo, I know nothing about the Wii really. I got one the other week, don't forget you need a Wii also

 

Its wireless and has a decent battery pack and its really clever.

 

Think its a bit girly myself but the hula hoop is fun... shhhhh

The board is an extra bit of hardware that can be used with some games.

Just make sure that you don't get the standalone wii fit game that comes without the board

 

Also, try for Wii Fit Plus - more features and pretty much the same price IIRC

The Wii fit plus seems to be £80 rather than the Wii fit which is £60 unless you know of a place selling for less

No, he just means they sell the game on its own too, so make sure you order the bundle!

How tight that they don't bundle a cr@p game with them all, I remember the 6 rubbish games that you got with the Sega Menacer.

 

As for interest I feel the same about Sing Star and people I know are still mad for that rubbish

No, you do get a game with them all (as far as I know) but they also sell the game on its own for people who already have the board for whatever reason

We bought Wii Fit when it was first released. Had months of fun with it. I'm glad to see they're releasing more games that use it.

The wii fit is the actual game that you put in the wii and the balance board is actually the board itself. You can use the board with other games such as some snowboarding one i think and that says something like compatible with wii balance board on the box.
