We've just been given PCE and I installed the client on my computer only to find the folder name was spelt incorrectly. I've fixed that but I can't see how to remove the client software so I can reinstall with the new settings?

Run the installer again - it should give the option to uninstall

what do you mean by misspelling the name?

Just out fo interest for those still using PCE - we are getting a lto of issues with windows bugging out with an explorer crash and a Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger error. This is causing issues here and was wondering whether any one else was having the same.

The usual culprit is PCE and i have removed it from a few machines to see if the issues dissappears. 90% of the time the error occurs whilst using Word.

It's getting frustrating now, numerous updates, updates that fix things and break things that were fixed, then back to being fixed..... it's a never ending circle :(

Wow I'm pleased to say that for the first time since I've been at this school and used PCE it's now working how it's supposed to with the new update.

No IE or other programs crashing, websites block properly... It's a good feeling

Any update on this? We're running 3.1.0.4 and still have reports of random crashes. One report came in this morning that explorer.exe crashed when a folder was opened.

What exceptions have you set in PCE and your antivirus and has it helped at all?

Also got 3.1.0.4 and have crashes on folder opening.

Seems to happen more often when using "Find Printers" from the Add printer dialog.

Never got to the bottom of this and has been going on for many versions.

I get the folder bug every now and then, its not a major one here as it only happens once and then restarts explorer.exe very quickly. Its more manageable than some of the other bugs :p

What's the best way to remove this software? I still getting reports of crashed computers and the teachers are not happy with it so I'll try removing from the main class machine first and see what happens.
