re Mondeo's - not half bad cars but will cost you a fortune in replacement bumpers (it's a rarity to see a Mondeo with an intact bumper!)

 

I think I'm just upset because it's not as pretty or as nice as my Vectra... oh and it's a real problem if you decide to change the clutch...

Don't know the details but got offered a Y reg 406 last night - TDi of some sort for £800.

the 406 is a great car and the only one I would go for is a TDI the only thing is the fuel pumps are the weakest and most expensive part:

I'm starting to think my little Clio might not be so bad after all. I might try and run it for another year - I'm sure she's got that in her at least without needing any more work doing to her. Maybe even two years with a bit of luck.

406's are supposed to be good cars, it's why loads are still munching the miles as Taxis all over the shop.
