Little-Miss Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 my engineer is gone....im alone, with my brand new DC humming away, with my nice clean vanilla network, and im feeling slightly overwhelmed. Still got masses of images to make, redirected desktops to play with.... *sits in corner and rocks* Feeling slightly better about it all knowing that you guys are here.....i feel i'll be using you more then ever till my confidence grows!!

john Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 working until 10pm... hardcore! now set a FOG server up and your life will be complete (and you'll have hours of your day back!) 10pm only, wow last DC I made I was up till 4am the next day, madness I know but time flew away when i was setting it up, and for my honesty I was doing it all at home had 5 base PCs from the school to make images from, install drivers to etc etc and the DC as it was a full new system so did it all here them shipped it back to them and did the RIS and that was it tbh. Made life easier Anyway Little Miss were all here for you 1

Made life easier Anyway Little Miss were all here for you That's nothing ... one year I was in school at 6am each morning after having 30 minutes sleep, had to set up 48 servers and install over 3000 laptops all on my own, and I only had windows 3.11 on floppy to work with, a decommissioned DEC Alpha and I had to keep the existing network running at the same time even though I had run out of bird seed for the pigeons! Oh ... well done Little Miss. Now all you have to do is stop those dreaded users logging in and it will stay pristine!
