Gatt Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Anyone know the best place to get spare parts for laptops? We have a number of Toshiba, Lenovo, Acer and Asus laptops with vandalised keyboards, and i'm looking to replace them - have come across Laptop Battery, Laptop Charger, Laptop Repairs, Laptop Spares and Laptop Accessory from Laptopbits. but would like few other options as well
pinemarten Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 we have had quite a few bits (keyboards, batteries, chargers, screens) from ICT Direct; ICT Direct - computer hardware for ict in education - primary, secondary, special needs schools and colleges -very helpful and easy to deal with!
Edu-IT Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Just order keyboards from accupart.co.uk and found the price of them to be nearly half what others quoted, genuine products too. Am waiting delivery of the products but all seems well so far and another school in the area used them without problems. If you're replacing power supplies be wary of buying compatible ones as they usually come with replaceable ends which go walkies quite easy.
OutToLunch Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Used laptopbits here for many bust keyboards with no problems and the prices seem fairly good
TLARWise Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 We use www.laptopspares.co.uk , the last batch of keyboards we got from them were £35 each
CESIL Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I have used clonesuk.com and they have been very good.
