CAM Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The re done is a bit bright, but the corkboard is very cool. Should submit that to the layout exchange. I put something basic together with black semi-transparent squares, all one PNG files at 1024x768. Unfortunately the regions corrupt the colours behind it, turning it into bright green static. Only the areas under regions are affected. Looks like the colour depth is plummeting? Anyone seen this before?

Ah, but you have to submit with details about the image licencing and seeing as it was mostly culled from various corners of the internet and assembled by me I haven't a clue. So for now it's staying just here.
CAM Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Not bad for bits taken from all over the net. And that bug above appears to be caused by using PNG files as a background. JPEG files work perfectly. One more for Launchpad I guess.

But If i change somthing in the layout e.g. Title, it doesnt change it in the client. I have to close the client and start again to get those chnages. Is there a way to constally update the client. I tried the secudal but it doesnt seem to do the job. Please give some suggestions. Thankyou.
TwoZeroAlpha Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 @Anup509 If you check on the client there should be a xibo options dialogue. You can change the content check refresh rate (seconds). I've got mine set at 300 for a reasonably rapid refresh.

CAM Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Xibo 1.0.6 has been released. I upgraded today, but found you need to delete the old 1.0.5 folder in /var/www and replace it with the 1.0.6 one.Otherwise no problems yet (but the timeline option in the layouts right click menu does nothing?)

I've created bat file which restarts when hotkey is pressed from client pc. But i want to restart it from server or other pc. Is this possible? Please Help! Restart Code: Save at .bat (You will also need to create a sortcut for Opening Xibo Client. As you can see I've saved it in C:\.......) taskkill /im XiboClient.exe start /max C:\Command\XiboClient Then you can create a sortcut for the bat file and add Hotkeys.

CarlBooth Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I was able to get a DVB-T signal onto my Xibo layout by making a webpage with VideoLAN embedded onto it. The client does need a USB DVB-T stick and TV Aerial though. I'll dig the code out on Monday.

To get round PP(which was only running pictures) I used photostory as suggested by someone on here.

Guest Guest Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Can you not do it in phpmyadmin? Create 4 more days, and copy the values from the 1st day into the rest. Backup your db first though as it may break it. At last check there certainly wasnt a way to do it in the interface.
