RM CC3 and PaperCut

Hi All

 

Just wondering if anyone is running papercut on a RM CC3 network

 

Is there anymore software out with works with CC3 which is like papercut which is any cheeper and is working on a cc3 network

 

any ideas please

I'm sure Papercut does work on CC3 - also look at PCounter and StopIt (we have the latter).

Runs fine here on CC3

 

Only quirk is that even if the user is out of print credits Papercut will still log this as a job.

What version of papercut are you on? That should only be getting logged as "failed", have you set the printing/user restrictions properly..?

Not sure installed it in June 2007 and haven't touched it regarding upgrades since.

 

Suppose it might be time for an upgrade by the sound of it.

I believe PCounter is free for printer monitoring ( if you want photocopiers as well that's probably a different story ) and RM will offer some support on it, they were promoting it at the seminars a year or so back. Unfortunately just after our school had decided on and ordered Equitrac.
