Where is my mug?

Hi,

 

At Bett 2009 i won a mug by being the 5th person to phone in. I haven't got it yet.

 

I know the postal service in the UK isn't the best but surely this is a little to long?

My personal thought is that perhaps this would have better been resolved by a quiet PM to one of the mods/DB or a post on the Message the Mods board.

 

Its' not something that needs to be discussed in public really, is it?

I have sent many PM's and have been promised it would be sent. I can really see the harm in posting it here. The main reason was incase it happened to anyone else.

If that is the case, I can see your point. Even so, I personally wouldn't have posted publicly. This is, after all, a site run by volunteers and you haven't lost any money. I'm sure they'll get themselves organised soon.

Don't know about that one but I do know that Dos_Box is just sorting out some more and has a list of people who should be getting one - I should imagine you are on that list.

Tbh, it's only a mug you aint going anywhere in a hurry are yah ? i am sure within time you will get the mug you really want until then use the ones you have at home and just wait for the special time to come..

I think you might find that otheres were first on the stand ... namely DB, Ric, ZH, et al ... do you hear us moaning about not having a mug? Oh ... that's because we have one ... and some even got another one from Smoothwall too (hope they are having fun at InfoSec today!)

I've got one! Although i daren't bring it in because it will probably get broken/stolen and i'll never be able to get another! It is currently behind bulletproof glass with a padlock...

I actually have 2. The first I picked up last may at the conference but I picked up the wrong bag when leaving and it had a broken mug in (ZH was happy as it meant he had a perfectly formed mug), and I have it in the office to hold pens, etc.

 

The other one is at home, on my desk ... next to the cap and other accessories!
