You want a dress hire shop, places that hire dresses out for an evening or two at a time. Some fancy dress / costume shops are now branching out into party dress hire. I know where there's one in Alton, Hampshire because I live above it, but otherwise I'm guessing the Yellow Pages / Yell.com is your best bet - try under "dress hire", "costume hire", "fancy dress", etc. -- David Hicks
