Hello All,

Well i have been busy over the last week completely revamping howtomac. Well its all done with new documentation and a more friendly theme.

It also offers.

  • Discussion Board
  • Download Area
  • Information on free training
  • How to get on site help

Your feed back would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ross

On the front page:

It reads "...all the hep you need."

Apple should be capitalized.

The sentence that starts "We at How-To-Mac" is a fragment.

"Set up" should be two words in this context.

Hands-on should be hyphenated.

Did you mean "good value for money" instead of "good for value money?"

Should read "experienced technicians" instead of "experience technicians."

Windows should be capitalized.

Your content is really great but the details might need a double-check. I'd be happy to have a look at the rest of the site if you want.

As you can tell i am a bit crap in terms of grammer and spelling so your help would be great :)

Any other suggestions are great!

You have a download for bootpicker, maybe you should also have one for rEFIt

IMO works much better than bootpicker

Bookmarked!.. sure this will come in handy :) thanks

-- one thing.. the forum is very tight (due to the theme of the site) so if you do get allot of forum traffic might be worth looking at that next! :)

Just my opinion.

You need to add one bit to the AD Integration post... timesync the Mac client to your domain controller...

Very true!

Got a little script which can do that.

New video online :)

let me know what you think.

I like it but i think that the video needs to be a better resolution because you cant really see whats going on.

I uploaded a video that i made on my mac to viddler.com and when its viewed on full screen you can actually make out whats going on.

can you have a tutorial on how to get a software update server running on OS X server and then manage the preference for the client, but then ultimately use softwareupdate -i in ARD to remotely list and install the updates available. I have managed to get the clients here to list them but get a fail for every machine every time i run the -i command from ARD. If i go to each machine and the GUI everything works as it should. :S

I am going to do some tutorials on setting up a server from scratch. Just need to get a script and i need to make sure it goes 100% right.

Thanks for the spelling errors :)
