AUP Informant 1.6 Released

I've got it working now, partly, but when I change the AUP html file the AUP isn't displayed to the user at next logon even though I've set this in the config file.

 

Righto. I have a day off tomorrow so I'll do a full code review and see what I can turn up. I'll keep you posted.

Also, how difficult would it be to change the unique identifier for the staff AUP? Basically our staff users here don't have numbers in their username so I would like the unique identifier to be if number exists then pupil if not then staff. Possible? A nightmare to do?

i have just installed this and noticed that everyone gets the student AUP, within aupinformant.exe.config it says "StaffUserIdentifier" with the value stf, but where does this point to so that i can chnage this for staff

We have a similar setup:

- Staff names are forename initial+surname = jbloggs

- Students are year group + form tutor + initials = 07abyz

 

How would we differentiate them?

can I set it up so it save the aup.ini on central location for all the users?? and shows the username as well not just accepted or not accepted???

 

when will v2 is going to be released??
