TeamViewer Alternatives

Hello,

 

We currently use TeamViewer across the network but I've been asked to look for alternatives to save some money.

One of the biggest features we use is the unattended access with TeamViewer.

 

Can anyone recommend any alternatives please?

I'm using Action1's Free Tier for my Windows Stuff and that's been working pretty well. It's also handling my Patch management  too

I've been using the free edition of Zoho Assist, but I'm a one man band. Seems to work well for what I need (just have to click past the "You sure you don't want to pay?" nag). https://www.zoho.com/assist/pricing.html . Not sure how it compares to TeamViewer in price.

 

You need an agent installed on the target for unattended access and, similar to TeamV, users can download and run an agent for remote support.

I'm using it for patch management but haven't noticed the remote support! Does it do unattended, though? Seems to!

We have had good experience with Splashtop has been very handy and is cheaper than TeamViewer

Its actually both internally and externally as we cater for both now.

It's just that TeamViewer is costing a small fortune for about 2500 devices.

I do a bit of friends and family support, because my family are very 1 finger typing style. Rustdesk is now hosted on my local microserver and I believe its free commercially. Whether it does everything.... but its free and allows unattended.

 

Im just a remote in and fix it jobby but also let's me get to my machine from my mobile thru starlink, only reason I touched it.
