These were Atlas TT7520ER, TT-7521Q and the Lyra Series Models - so no, not C Series but overall we've been happy with Newline.

As I mentioned earlier, we've got several of the C Series and they work nicely as interactive displays.  Pen it comes with is fine to use if you don't want to write with your finger.

 

Only negative aspect is lack of freeze button on remote so you have to go via the menu to access it.

Touching the board unfreezes it.

Yeah that's definitely a negative as i know teachers will moan about that even though using the menu probably only takes a couple of seconds but not a deal breaker if we cant afford better models.

on iiyama you just press the yellow button on remote to block touch input and again to unblock it.

press blue button to freeze/unfreeze current screen.

it was one of my must-haves (I'm SEND school with little hands everywhere!)

Yes good features to have an ideally what i need to but those screens are £150 more and just haven't got the budget, sad times.

re newline C-series, £595 for a 65" seems pretty good, shame no freeze on remote, I've seen ones where blue button does freeze.

Who is supplier offering them at £595 with 5 year warranty ? Maybe "grey market" ?

Alas the C series remote doesn't have any colour buttons.

soo tempted to see if there is away to get them to try and add an update to firmware so that a remote button could be reassigned to that feature, but doubt that is possible, but for £600 for a 65" board, our staff just have to press menu and scroll down, or we put in dual monitors so the board screen is cloned so they can have content on the other screen instead of freezing (which is what we had to do for a couple of rooms since Sept since the firmware only came out in March with Freeze)

Yes a 2 monitor setup+board is what i will achieve also so the freeze isn't really a problem then as well as mirroring videos as they will always have one screen to carry on working on privately.

We at BenQ offer a range of interactive screens, they range from entry level (RE04A), mid-range (RE04) and premium (RP04). They all include an Android OS and subscription free account management, device management and messaging. They are all available in 65" as well as other sizes.

 

They all have a built in speakers, whiteboard (EZWrite 6 - also available FOC for PC, macOS, iPadOS and certain Android devices) and casting (InstaShare 2). The RE04A and RE04 the wireless dongle is an optional extra, but it is included as standard in the RP04 series.

Using the credentials or email address from the iiyama-dms.com site doesn't work and there's no apparent way to create an account on https://dms.iiware-support.com.

how do you have set this up? 3 cables output from PC e.g. HDMI to board, VGA and DP to monitors? I guess it depends on motherboard / graphics capability ?

I've picked up some Startech Display port to dual HDMI splitters so that the 2nd monitor and board are cloned.  The onboard GPU struggled when I tried to get it natively to have extended desktop and clone display 3 from display 2 which was part of the extended.

 

This way PC just does extended and hardware does the rest... will find out if it works well after the half term.

Yes all depends on motherboard/GPU.

 

3 monitors work on spec below.

Motherboard: Asus Prime H610M-A

Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 770

 

Outputs

HDMI to HDMI (Smartboard)

VGA - VGA - (Monitor 1)

DP - HDMI - (Monitor 2)

iiyama DMS - this is the URL I use.
initially the account was set up manually by messaging iiyama directly and them setting it up and apply free educational licenses.

I think [email protected] might be the one I used to get in touch with them.
