jcollings Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Well done Zak, @jcollings, are you saying the local inhabitants of Kendal are of the Chavesq nature or just that Kendal is a haven for driving schools and cheap car garages @john - Kendal is ok but does have a higher chav content than people imagine for a nice area like this! BTW how's the new job going?

Something i need to do myself personally.. lucky i wont be getting no loud speakers.. bodykit on a corsa or saxo Grr! i hate it and it is just stupid. makes the car sound cr*p tbh. but yh something i have been meaning to do for a while... but i dont mind walking everywhere. hehe What car you thinking off getting anyhow zak? It involves Pink Floyd at full blast instead! Joedetic...the anti-chav!

Hightower Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 As everyone says Zak, now is when you learn! First year of insurance for me was quoted at £2500 third party and theft. I put my Dad on as a named driver and that helped a lot. Now, with my no claims I have my insurance down to less than £300 fully comp which includes my gf who has just passed. It's not all that bad but I gotta tell you it can be very expensive the first years. Just make sure you drive careful and get your no claims built up. Remember, it's the millions of other drivers on the road you have to worry about.

The Job is great thanks for asking and remembering. 2 weeks done now so time flys (scarily fast when the job list doesn't seem to decrease!) But we will be ready for the little darlings returning on Tuesday, with new Boards, Projectors, Sound Systems and PCs installed. They are very nice people, nice place so all is good and well. Just had to await the delights of the little darlings and the bigger ones (meaning the teachers!) hehe
