ClassCharts doesn't seem to be updating. We have Wonde integration, and looking at access control for Wonde and TES ClassCharts, I can see our new staff and new year 7 pupils are there, but it doesn't seem to have pulled through to ClassCharts. All of our classes in ClassCharts are last years classes.

I haven't had a reply to the ticket I put in this morning, and when the staff member who deals with Class Charts on a day-to-day basis tried to get in touch via phone, they were told that they have to do everything via email, and that they're very busy.

I rang them earlier today and they confirmed it was an issue on their end, supposedly they were going to force a manual sync for us but I have not had a response in the last 4+ hours

Not ideal to say the least

Support has been very poor, School is really struggling to plan etc. Feel useless supporting my school same issues as you guys

Not your fault though, so don't DARE think it's down to you or make you feel useless.

SLT and management should be doing their job as management professionals and holding TES/Classcharts accountable for their service offering/poor service - the school/Trust chose them, not you.

From an IT side we're seeing the effect of schools thinking 'everything cloud' is the answer, not realising the risk and service is then with that provider. How many have we seen fail (Classcharts), have data breaches (Single Central Record) or lack of support and ANY communications for MAJOR outages (Classcharts again)

And as IT you could argue the SLT and management aren't in fact doing their jobs as management professionals by not dealing with this issue appropriately with THEIR chosen provider.

Our renewal this year was a £1k more.  This came as a slight shock and is nowhere near value for money when all that is used is seating plans and a quick way to log commendations, especially as it is a fairly closed system and they refuse to write back to MIS or link to other systems.

Yes, that's because now they force all the addins on you. Before you had 3 tiers of product depending on what you needed. Now they force you to buy the highest package.

The email they sent out about it tho was super wooly and made it out as if they were doing you a benefit.

Bait and switch.

I'm not saying they are losing hearts and minds, but out classcharts "champion" has taken a look at sims next gen, and openly speculated that it might be better value.

Same here.  SLT member is the only person pushing for it. This year he can't even argue for it.

We've just had Class Charts close a bug ticket (the activity feed stops working for one user - who continuously monitors the feed as part of their role - regardless of the computer they're on, but works for everyone else), as though it were a feature request, and they're not going to do anything about it.

They are. We've just migrated from SIMS to Bromcom and will possibly be bringing our use of ClassCharts to an end once the contract finished. I am pushing to move before that. I'm fed up of it not syncing or having weird issues (such as -1 minute per lesson).
