I love watching The Computer Show, and The Computer Chronicles, two programs from the 1980's talking about "micro's" - the old 8 bit microcomputers they had back then. Talking all stuffy and seriously about how it would change office work so that a secretary can "e mail" a document rather than typewrite it and carry it down etc.

 

I'd love to show them the current times we live in - everyone walks around with a portable computer terminal in their pockets just like in a 1980's sci-fi book - but they use it to take videos of themselves shaking their behinds... (actually one of the hosts of one show Stewart Cheifet is still alive to this day!)

 

They've put all "woke" staff on paid leave. Hell they could put me on paid leave but in their case I'd be very worried about my job (let alone my country!)
