Jobos Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Primary using Inventry but looking for alternative sign in system. I have the price of Sign In App but would like to compare price with EntrySign and not able to find any pricing on the EntrySign website which make me suspicious. Just a ball park figure will do either here or by PM. Thanks.
Accura2k7 Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 EntrySign is expensive, charged per device not site licened. Go with SigninApp, we have now at several sites when their EntrySign or Invenjry contracts became due. 1
dapaulio Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Sign in app came in a lot cheaper than most but I would describe it as your ikea of sign in system. They send you the stuff you build and fit it. It very intuitive I love it we have opted also for the additional sims write back license which marks student in late I like the app they have and if your in a good area it use location in services to sign you in and out automatically. This feature ain’t great if mobile coverage is poor in your area 1
synaesthesia Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 I can't recall the cost I got for Entrysign, but do remember we could have bought 3 SignInApp systems with all the hardware and gubbins and MIS integration subscription for the cost of either ES or Inventry (as of June this year). 1
kierans Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 We paid roughly £3,500. Our experience has been far from what we expected, not impressed at all. 1
Jobos Posted September 12, 2024 Author Posted September 12, 2024 The screen on this inventry went faulty last week and inventry want £1500 for the refresh. Seems very costly for what it is so that’s why I’m looking for alternatives.
EntrySign_custsvc Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Hi Jobos, nothing suspicious at all regarding pricing. We generally prefer to provide a demo (remote or in person) of the system and to understand your specific requirements to provide accurate pricing, but happy to give you a ball park price. Feel free to to give us a call on 01226 295455 and speak to one of our team or drop me a DM and we'll get in touch.
sideone Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 >nothing suspicious at all regarding pricing Doesn't provide any pricing.
Fazza Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 >nothing suspicious at all regarding pricing Doesn't provide any pricing. It's on their website. Just Google their company and take a look if you really want to know.
sideone Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 It's on their website. Just Google their company and take a look if you really want to know. OP said "not able to find any pricing on the EntrySign website" so I assumed that they had looked.
EntrySign_custsvc Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 As you are no doubt already aware it is important to look at total cost of ownership including all required options as SaaS solutions do often look cheaper upfront, but typically increase significantly once you add in all the extras. Also, be sure to consider things such as data retention periods offered to make sure these meet your requirements and are included in the price. With EntrySign we do not impose any specific limits on how long you retain your data and this can be configured to meet your data retention policies and any statutory requirements. We are always happy to look at your comparisons if you feel we are more expensive like for like. As standard EntrySign comes with, pre-booking for visitors and event attendees, DBS induction and documentation tracking, time sheet reporting, contractor management, RFID sign-in sign-out, incident reporting, designated roles (fire marshal and first aiders) and much more, and includes full UK based software and hardware support (including onsite where required). In addition to this we can offer the broadest range of integrations with 3rd party solutions, including direct integrations with all the major MIS providers, Door Access Control and HR & Payroll providers.
Jobos Posted September 13, 2024 Author Posted September 13, 2024 It's on their website. Just Google their company and take a look if you really want to know. I’ve looked at their website and looked again but I cannot see anywhere what the costs are. https://www.entrysign.co.uk
Scan099 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 I’ve looked at their website and looked again but I cannot see anywhere what the costs are. https://www.entrysign.co.uk We have just switched from Inventry to Entry-Sign and all I can say is that the service and support have been excellent. Wish we had changed over sooner.
Jobos Posted November 21, 2024 Author Posted November 21, 2024 We went with Sign-In App in the end and what a breath of fresh air it is after using Inventry for years only problem is now I’ve moved schools and guess what the new school has… yes Inventry! [emoji79]
dapaulio Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 As an education tech of 20+ year sign in app is my go to approved for visitor and staff sign in system.
Scan099 Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 As an education tech of 20+ year sign in app is my go to approved for visitor and staff sign in system. we would have gone with this had it had Paxton integration but has yet it doesn't
2097 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 We use Entrysign. Their support is very good ! normally sameday remote support. Paxton integration is also very good ! Works with sims , updating the late register etc The reason we went with entrysign was the Paxton/Sims integration and we wanted signin/out terminals around the school but didnt want ipads or devices with screens ( because of vandalism ). I havent used any others , But we went with Entrysign because of the above and its a good system.
WannabrewUK Posted January 24, 2025 Posted January 24, 2025 We paid roughly £3,500. Our experience has been far from what we expected, not impressed at all. What requirements did you need to meet? What included in the package for that price?
WannabrewUK Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 I've been trying to get a quote from Entrysign since Friday. Signin App sent me one through within a couple of hours.
andy_b Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Little disappointed with SignIn app, their costs (Core) have risen quite a lot recently.. Jan 2024 - £345 Jan 2025 - £365 Jan 2026 - £415 + MIS integration costs. Still cheaper than other solutions, but 20% in two years seems a lot.
