This looks similar to the power leads from Xboxes as those don't have an earth hole either.

C17 connector. Been around ages, just not hugely common.

aww I thought it was a novelty defect. Just wrong cable, wrong box. Still poor guy moved things to get to the back before he looked at the cable!

C15 /C16 took me ages to work out why none of the kettle leads would fit into a Switch

Or when you've bought new switches, accidentally used the C15's to connect a load of random guff around the school then need to start setting the switches up....

 

 

now, where are those 60 random monitors with C15s in....
