Sonic007 Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Hi everyone, Looking at getting a class set of Chromebooks. Wondered what you all recommend. Thankyou.
TheHyperTechie Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 We recently just purchased 20 x Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 14” Chromebooks. Can't fault them, and have been in circulation for a couple of months now. They also support auto updates until 2030. 1
Oaktech Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Depends on your budget... So far our little darlings haven't managed to do significant damage to our Lenovo 500e - we've got Gen2 and these are less than £100 on the refurb market. 1
PrimaryNetMan Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Recently gone with some ASUS Chromebook Flip CR1 CR1100 in a primary setting. Supported until June 2031, 2-in-1 touchscreen, garaged stylus, world facing camera and 3Y Warranty for under £225 1
Sonic007 Posted November 7, 2023 Author Posted November 7, 2023 Thankyou everyone. I will check those out.
WannabrewUK Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 We've got two class sets of Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Have no problems with them at all and build quality seems good 1
timbo343 Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Ivw been asked to buy a class set of 10 chromebooks with a budget of £210 per Chromebook. What spec should be good enough these days? 4gb / 64gb?
OldTimeIT Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Have a word with Simon Hool at GeTech. We have had hundreds of Chromebooks from them and always a deal to be had. Chromebook 100e's have been reliable apart from two with keyboard failure after about a year that were repaired very quickly under warranty. 1
