Hello,

I am hoping someone will have some contacts for the disposal of large interactive whiteboards.

We are a special school located in Hemel Hempstead, Herts and have various screens that need disposing:

they are a variety of 50" or 55" screens.

My usual contacts either don't have vans big enough, or are not collecting in my area anytime soon.

Does anyone have any other contacts that could help with this?

TIA

We use a company called WasteCare to shift our old interactive whiteboards - https://www.wastecare.co.uk/contact/

They do charge for whiteboards, £15-20 each I think. A lot of companies do now though, as they're a pain to move and don't have much scrap value.

We're North London, so Hemel shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

We used EnviroElectronics to take our old IWB's away. They did this at no charge, although we did get rid of a load of other IT equipment at the same time.

Same here. Highly recommended.

Same here! Friendly, prompt and Professional service (and free)!

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago based on the good things said about them on this site. Still awaiting a reply.

In my old secondary school we used to use PRM Green - now part of https://www.restore.co.uk/Technology

These used to be our "go to", but made a few mess ups last year.

Highly recommend Enviro, They take any ICT equipment, just give them a call, and the best thing is it's always free.

That's unusual, we normally get a reply the same/next day so your email may be in their spam filter or something.

May give EnviroElectronics an email at some point as well.

Our current contractor just whacked us with a load of new charges, not amused.
