Good morning all,

 

Anyone else balked at the increase in cost for the PDQ set of tools? Our educational cost seems to have doubled. Having to re-consider now. I know you cannot put a price on ease of use, and it is great software but not sure we can afford it this year.

Found this when went to renew a few years ago, price increase was ridiculous. Managed to get a few updates under the licence before it was no longer valid. Currently v13 and still deploys everything I need (W11 Endpoints)

Earlier this year, our pricing changed. For new customers, a subscription for PDQ Deploy & Inventory is now $1,500 (or $750 for standalone Deploy/Inventory).

 

As a loyal customer of PDQ, we’re offering you a discount on the updated price. We recognize that every budgeting process is different (and we still haven’t seen one that’s fun!), so we’re offering you 30% off on your next renewal including any additional licenses. This means you get Deploy & Inventory for $1,050 ($525 for each license of Deploy or Inventory) for the next year. We’ll also offer you 15% off in future years, an increase from your current 10% discount.

 

These discounts will also apply to additional licenses and our upcoming agent-based solution.

 

To ensure you are eligible for the discounts, please renew your license by your renewal date of February 28, 2023.

 

Timing any pricing change is difficult. The last time we updated our pricing was 2014, about the time Flappy Bird was taking flight. Still value for money I think as it fulfils our inventory and deployment needs.

Definitely email them and ask for a discount. We did that and got a much lower quote.
